I got a 2000 civic Si, and I just noticed today that the maintenace indicator is turned to red. And so what should I do to find out what the problem is?

 

just stick your key in the slot. and it will be green. it changes colors at certain milelage to let you know to change your oil, air filter, etc etc.

 

What's the mileage on the car?
The service indicator is there to remind you that servicing needs to be done.
Look in the owners manual for the service intervals.
The indicator can also be reset by inserting your key in the rectangular hole on the instrument panel and pushing gently.

 

that lite is purely for oil. it makes its rounds every 4-5k miles. just re-set it
