Got my Fluidyne....need help installing
My friend had this in his turbo teg and offered it to me for $100 which I thought was a good deal.

It has 1 big fan with no plug that is connected to the radiator pretty securely and another small fan with a plug that's just hanging there with 1 nail thing holding it in.

1. What do I do with the blue and black wires found here?

2. How do I secure this fan and keeping it from flopping around?

3. Is that small fan big enough to work or should I get a bigger one?
Any other suggestions?
TIA

Since this is a fludyne there pretty efficient so that one big fan should just work by itself. But you can hook up the secondard as the A/C fan (If you have AC). You can take your old fan plug off your original radiotor for the fan without the plug. Just strip and soilder the plug on the wires. That fan looks like it can either push or pull..Im assuming your turbo guy had it pushing..Just make sure you wire it up correctly depeding on which side you have the fan sitting. As for holding the fans up the best thing are those things that push through...thats hold the current fun up.. You could get some small screws, washers and bolts and bolt gently trhough the fins. ???

those appear to be slim style fans.... if you don't have one of those stupid snail things on the front of your motor... the stock fan should work.

Even with a stupid snail...
The slimline by itself (without the smaller a/c fan) is good enough. I ran with just one fan last summer without problems. The big fan seemed to turn on on its own as soon as the A/C was turned on.
I'd remove it.

Good find Rob
I really want my AC and don't have one of those damn snails anways. So could I still use my stock fans?

i think he was reffering to the clearance between the turbo and the stock fans. but i might be wrong.

Yeah, and he's right, a turbo won't fit with a OEM fan and larger radiator, at least not with any manifold I'm aware of.
I was just offhandedly referring to the "stupid snail" comment.

I would keep the larger slimline, either ziptie or trash the small fan, and ditch the OEM ones too.

Since it gets to 1000 degress down here, I'll keep that dinky little fan for my ac and find some way to ghetto rig it on the radiator.
Thanks guys
