do you want an opinion as to what kind of speakers you should get or do you want to know the correct size?? be more specific..mind readers are hard to come by.

i have always used pioneer myself..sound great IMO and can take lots of abuse..not all that expensive either for a good set .
or you can go crazy and get some jl or mb quartz or somethin like that..
regardless, ebay is the way to go on speakers..ya can get em new w/warranty for near half price than from best buy or sound advice, ect..

I have some Pioneer 6.5"s that are ok I'm not all that thrilled with them but they arnt bad either. Of course I've never been a huge fan of the way 6.5"s sound but they are very good for a set of 6.5"s. I also like Polk Momo, Alpine, Boston Acustics, and Diamond Audio they all make some good speakers.

If you need to know the sizes check out Crutchfield.com and put in your car info.

I was thinking Polk, my dad used them for his RV and his camaros and they sound great, but its been a while since anyone in my family has bought speakers. The idea is im going to buy the speakers on Ebay and then get circuit city to install them (its like $50 for install).

Who the hell would pay $50 to have them installed? They take like 5 minutes 10 max to install them. If the rear ones you take the screws for the cover out from the inside of the trunk then just take pull the cover off and unscrew the speakers. Get the wiring adapter that just plugs into the existing wiring and screw the stuff back in. Basically the same for the front only you have to take the door panels off which isn't hard at all.

If you buy from Crutchfield.com you pay a little more but they include the wiring adapters and a mastersheet telling you what screws to remove and where exactly they are and exactly how to do it and if you have problems you can call them. I would go this route before I paid $50 to have the installed.

I've bought my 2 set Pioneers on Ebay for 20 dollers a set brand new still works and its great... 91 accord are size 6.5 on back and front... i got 200w on each of them well they can handle up to that and they are perfectly fine...my friend has JL in his integra and it sounds the same to me. IF you dont have money to waste i would go to ebay and buy the pioneer's cheap and good. =D

Pioneer 6 1/2's (front & rear)
Pioneer CD Player (cheapest w/ detachable face)
Pionner 12's (trunk)
Pioneer Amp (under passenger seat)
Monster Cap (under passenger seat)

Cost me $400 for all, brand new w/ receipts. Installed everything except the wiring for the amp/cap...I got lazy and paid $50 to Magnolia Hi-Fi. Cleanest install though.

Sadly my deck was stolen about 3 months ago, so I removed everything except the 6 1/2's. They were a pain to install in the doors (I didn't remove the whole panel).

I spent the $$$ on Eclipse, Phoneix Gold, Alpine, & Rockford Fosgate before. Yeah it sounded great, but emptied the wallet.

Stick w/ Pioneer or Kenwood for a low price and excelent quality.

Yup go for the Alpines. Sony= I would stay away from Sony's as they just don't seem to sound that great.

Yup Infinity also makes some very good speakers and some of the best for the money imo. I have 2 12" Infinity subs and like them a lot.
