a/c compressor help! Its freakin hot!

a/c compressor help! Its freakin hot!
Anyone rebuild their a/c compressor? I was going to charge mine up last summer and it went out on me. I can wobble the entire end pully on the compressor. So i just bypassed it and put my shorty belt back on! 3 years without air...YAY! NOT!
I was thinking that the bearing maybe went out in it and the clutch would be fine. Would just another bearing fix the problem? I wouldnt mind just getting another one, but i dont wanna have to break the line and then recharge it. Plus i dont wanna pay for it! Any help is greatly appriciated!
