I got my buddies 1995 b18b1 all stock usdm swap, the headers he gave me have the o2 plug in front of the engine somewhat below the headers, as opposed to my old header (DC 4-1) had the o2 bung located right at the end of the headers near the Cat. Can anyone please confirm were the O2 bung is on Obd-1 b18b1 headers? I need to know cause im going to the referee soon. thanks.
are u sure its a 95 and not a older model like a 93? Reason why is i use to have a 95 LS on my old hatch and the o2 is also located towards the end of the header near the cat. Also the header might be off from another car.

i have no clue, thats y im asking honda-tech
He is not shure since he boguht the car used, all he knows is that the motor is original, now i just need to know if the headers are not, i think the o2 should be near the car, but i wanna be 100% shure before i go out and buy headers to get the car refereed.

the gsr motor is different the o2 is in the cat that's correct but on the LS the o2 should be at the end of the bottom piece header.
You could also verify it with the Referee! Just stop by and ask him when he isn't busy.
Or, you could look in the factory manual (commonly called a Helm's manual) to see the correct location. (bring the manual with you to the referee, should he question it)
I can say that my 89 hatchback with 95 GSR swap has the O2 sensor just before the cat. (it's been through the ref) As was said in the prior post, the location for a B18b may be different.

Wes</TD></TR></TABLE>That must not have been stock. I bought my '95 GSR new, & the O2 sensor was in the cat. It was just at the upstream end of the cat, before the catalyst monolith. There was no bung in the A-pipe.
The Helm book showed that a B18B1 (LS) had a shorter cat, longer A-pipe, & the O2 sensor was in the A-pipe, near the end.
