Default Cylinder head anger

I have a '94 CX and I bought it for cheap because it ran like crap, and the guy who had it before didn't want to play with it so he got a new car, anyway after finding the culprit that cylinder 3+4 were not running right, I came to the conclusion that it was the headgaset because there was water on the plugs, anywho...I got all the headbolts off, timing chain is off, everything is disconnected from the intake mani, and the exhaust manifold is disconnected and the block will not let go of the head, I think if i hit it any harder with something I am gonna crack it, I tried a 2x4 and a sledgehammer, a peice of a small log, a ball peen hammer, tried to drive numerous screwdrivers and chisels under the head at different points, etc. ..the only other thing I could think of it to get a engine crane and bolt it onto the head but i honestly think it would lift the front of the car off the jackstands..someone help.

Timing chain? Is it a K-series or did you mean belt?

Regardless,

Here's a checklist for ya:

1. exhaust
2. intake manifold support bracket and water lines
3. fuel lines
4. radiator hoses and water lines where applicable (probably not a concern for you)
5. head bolts
6. timing belt
7. ground straps and wires

Make sure you've done all that before hitting it with anything else
