Sup guys? I dont know if i should be like an ******* or if it was the factorys fault...check this out...I was working on my car saturday afternoon and i wanted to take out my plug wires(nology hotwires) to clean underneath them so i tryed to pull out the #1 plug and **BAM**!! It happened....I pulled it out but the metal prong was still stuck on the spark plug, so I was like damn that sucks like it ripped off the prong, so the little metal wire was hanging out about an inch and I was like well it should be fine so I stuck the plug back in and started my car up and was fine...so then i drove about 20 miles to this spot in pencola fl where everyone meets up on saturday nites and my car was still running fine and so we left there and went out to the street races and my lights were dimming and my radar and rpms were bouncing alll over and I was like **** my alternator is going dead, cause the same thing happed a long time ago, so i get in my car and it barely starts up and im hauling *** before it dies and i make it to this spot called 3 mile bridge and my freinds brought jumper cables and jumped me and i was like ok im gonna try and make it across the bridge so im doing like 70 my lights were dimming and car was backfiring i was like dmn im gonna get stuck on this damn bridge but i make it and about 50ft from the end of the bridge my **** wont accelerate and im shooting out mad flames like im misfiring on a cylinder so i pull over and i my friend had a truck and tow rope and we towed it back to fort walton like 25 miles and so this morning i put my old plugs back in to see if that could maybe be it and i get my wife to jump me and everything is cool for about 5 min so i unhook the cables and get in my car and rev it and the abs light come back on, i was like **** its the alternator but then i hit it to like 6 grand and it went off and i let it idle for about 10 min and no abs light then i went driving for about 15 min and was cool so i guess my **** is fixed....just thought id share my adventuras night, didnt get home till like 400....im wondering if i can get nology to give me a new wire or something...???Im gonna call them tomorrow...
lord jebus that was a long sentence!
I ran Nology Hotwires on my old GSR-swapped Civic back in the day, cos they looked nice
They never gave me trouble but my mechanic just laughed at me when I ordered them
Good luck w/ Nology replacing them.. you never know.

Good luck with that, did you notice a difference from OEM wires? I wanted to switch out my OEM ones with Nology Hotwires but the dealership said if I didn't have lots of mods, then it would actually do more harm that good. Is that true?
Pretty much any spark plug wire can have it's electrode corrode and stick to the spark plug, if you don't use dielectric grease.

I ran Nology back in 95 or so on my B18A1. I always had arching problems where as others with VTEC motors didn't...wierd. So I threw them away and never sold them again.

note,
My Helm's (94+ integra) doesn't say anything about tune-up grease or dielectric grease. Maybe they're assuming it'll stay dry down there.

Regardless, I have made note of your practice. Thanks.
Where did you pick up on this?

From my youth... not quite sure. It doesn't hurt, and it keeps water and air out of the plug.
