i'm posting this for my friend...he has been telling me that his car is sputtering when he gets on the gas and i wasn't too sure wat he was talking about..so last night i took it for a drive and every time u get on the gas it just sputters...there is no power when your on the gas..i have been trying to figure it out but cant seem to figure out the problem..i was thinking it was the timing, or CAT or o2 sensor, or something is clogged..so help out if u can...TIA

 

yea check the timing. does it bog when you hit the gas then go?

he did change the fuel filter...he said it helped just a lil and put fuel injector cleaner but its not helping

check all of your hoses on your intake manifold

 

if it bogs real bad then goes, it could be the spark plugs, just my .2 cents too

 

he changed the spark plugs and wires it just boggs all the way through
