Default stock springs and retainers w/ ctr cams??

Yea i just wanted to know if i'd be safe... i have ferrea valves.. but i have stock springs (dual's on intake) w/ stock retainers i dont plan on revving to high at all either.. maybe 8500 tops...... only reason being is ive been carless for about 3 months and im kinda broke to upgrade the springs and retainers... so i was thinking in the meantime until i get the dough to do so i could still drive the car the way is it.... any feed back would be great.... (other then stupid comments) thanks.

Do you mean stock CTR springs or stock B16/GSR springs?

the gsr intake springs are same as itr exhaust springs. also, itr and gsr share same retainers. if you are really low on money, just get itr intake springs and instal them at home.

the CTR head has dual springs to handle the cams and the b16A has single springs.

youre wondering if the single springs are stiff enough not to bind up with the CTR cams?

yea if the single exhaust springs will be good enough to hold the ctr cams... only because they arent that much more aggressive then lets say b16 or gsr... they arent exactly BIG cams you know...... but it was just a thought...

Theyre fine. Just dont go revving to 10,000RPMs cuz its useless anyway.
