Hi! Im curious on how you guys reverse the Perches on the GC's
People told me that i should reverse the perches on my gc's to give it more of a lower stance.
Im going for that SLAMMED look ....i mean " TIRE TUCKING!!!"
I'm all the way down on my perches. I NEED MORE!!!!
What are the steps? Reverse it? Remove the tophats(GC)? remove the rubber insulator?Any advice would do.
So if you guys have some PICS of your suspension that's been modified like this, would appreciate it!
Thanks!

"reverse" your coilovers? never heard of it. doesnt even sound logical.
if your goal is to get lower, you should just order some extended top hats. yeah, it sounds like a goddam broken record (kinda like "add a rear sway bar"), but it still works, especially if you are already using an adjustable spring kit.

reversing the coil over is just filping the sleeve, the threads on the collar dont go all the way down the sleeve on some collars, so you just flip them. you could also run with no sleeve at all if you dare
hey, don't have pics but I have my sleeves reversed and it didn't do anything at all.. so I just ended up cutting the springs and now my car is REALLY tucked, I mean REALLY tucked, just use a hacksaw all it takes is so elbow grease.

i would assume that it involves flipping it so that the circlip/ring is on the "top" of the threads, instead of the bottom, but i'm not sure if that'll even work. is there enough shock below the circlip to even allow something like that?
If you're serious about going that extreme, order some shorter springs from Ground Control. For example, my springs are 8" and 7" (F/R) and if I wanted to go to the ground, I could get an inch shorter springs and lower my perches as well. Just a thought. I wouldn't recommend cutting your springs just because it changes the characteristics of the spring so much and, not to mention, it can be dangerous.
Something to think about.
