Default intercooler piping welder?

hey guys,

im trying to save some money. id like to weld my own piping for my intercooler. i have a craftsman mig welder and i want to know if it will weld mild steel for piping ok> it was like 350 for the welder? please let me know if any one has it? thanks

Of course it is fine, but I will add this. You are going to be connecting your pipes with silicon or rubber couplers correct? It can be easier for assembly, disassembly and sometimes even on the pocket book to just buy angled silicon couplers to make the changes in direction needed. Every single pipe in my charge piping is a straight piece, and I only needed to use four 90 degree and two 45 degree couplers.

I am not saying this is the way it should be done, just a simple way it can be.
