Default Problem with DC Sports header

I own a 99 accord and I installed a DC Sports 4-2-1 header about a year ago. I now hear a rattling noise that is very annoying. At first I thought it was the cat, but upon further inspection I found it was in the downpipe. I was wondering if anyone else had any similar problems. Is this a design flaw in the product? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

sounds like you need to take the downpipe off and se whats making the noise... did you check the bolts ont he header and cat side? maybe something is just loose and causing the rattle.

did the piping reuse the stock bolts?.....if they're spring loaded, that could be the problem

I had a honda dealer install the header so i don't know if he re-used the stock bolts or not. When I was under my car I checked all the bolts and connection points and they seemed fine. It really sounds like its coming from inside the down pipe. My car is lowered about 3 inches and I also noticed that the lowest part of the downpipe had bottomed out because of a lack of clearance. Is it possible that this may have caused the problem?

very likely, even thought you can tighten they to death but they still vibrate, especially it's aged or been altered.

98-02 accord uses all bolt and nut and flange no spring tension or even gasket.

problem it's the second Y is coming loose, i had mine welded shut
