I started getting this strange vibrating sound in my engine bay after I installed my SRI. It sounds like a bunch of lightsabres flying around. It only happens when the car is warmed, and when it is at idle. If i give it a little bit of gas (2k+) it goes away, but comes back when the RPM drops. Any ideas on what it could be? The sound is coming from the drivers side of the bay.

intake manifolds vibrate from the engine which helps flow air into the head better. Vibrations cause/are sound, and with a shorter intake such as your short ram you can hear those before they quiet down. The reason they go away is because the frequency changes as the rpm's rise and the higher frequency vibrations don't produce sound waves as well.....

Ok, it just sound slike PS pump is broken, but i dont move the wheel at all and I know what PS pump sounds like.
