RPS max clutch?
anyone had good luck with the RPS max series single disc clutches? I'm looking for a cheap alternative to a twin disc just to get my motor going for now and get it running good...The nice thing is, they are rebuildable. Anyone know how many ft pounds they are rated at?
I had one in my car at the beginning. Held to 450+ lbs of torque with a whopping .001" wear after about a dozen dyno runs and numerous hard launches at 7K plus. JT will take care of you.

For 1 JT doesnt work there any more. For 2 they are about a month backordered on these clutchs. I was going to get one, but never had the chance. Also with the Pro clutch they say they need your flywheel so they can mate the clutch to it, since each PRO series clutch is made when ordered.
If you do get it, talk to Marty T on here. Awesome price and a great guy all around

Actually not that bad at all. I really enjoyed the clutch before I finally stepped up.

I have the max series single w/ the cyn-r-g flywheel in my daily driver. Im not sure how much torque it will hold up to because i havent been on the dyno yet(rated at 361), but the engagement is really nice and the pedal pressure is not that bad either (even with my cable driven clutch line).
RPS has a couple of different clutches in the max series that you can choose from..They have clutches rated from 361 to 510. Heres a link to the honda max series clutches for the lazy people.

RPS has been around for a while so they know whats up. Especially in the twin carbon-carbon department

I just ordered a Max clutch kit from them. About them being backordered, I ordered mine from ProStreetOnline, and it got here in a couple weeks. They're a great company, and they development is farther ahead of any other company.
