6 speed for the f22?
yes, i did research..
no i did not find anything..(which probably means its not existing)
but im not an expert at finding things, thus why i wanted to ask here.
i was just curious IF their is a 6 speed tranny that will bolt to an f22?

The f22 barely needs 5 gears, why would you want a 6th?

very true..barely does need 5.
ive just been drooling over driving a 6 speed for years now and eyeballing the $2500 one for my stang for a while..and i was just wondering if there was one for a 5th gen accord.
thanks..my curiosity has been quenched*

i read on "cb7tuner.com" that there is a company currently fabricating an adapter to bolt up the k-series 6 speed transmission.... -justin-

to achieve what? just to say you have one more gear to go?
mating a shorter gear(generally speaking) tranny on a underpower low reving motor is pretty point less.
it's pointless enough to have a shorter gearing h22 tranmission on f22(vtec or not)
enlight me please

Not to change the subject but I've been pondering this, won't the h tranny give you better acceleration? Not asking a dumb question just curious

what I thought, gracias
what I thought, gracias
actually.....the K series spins the opposite way, and send power to the drivers side....
what happens when you take the k out, and spin it 180?.....it spins the same direction as teh F, thusly mounting the K tranny up would provice 6 drive gears...
or am i completly wrong in my logic??...i dont know, im sick, and cant think straight....on a side note, i have prom tommorow nite....and i feel like ****

The f22 motor when built properly can actually put out major power. It is also a light weight motor. It's best to put the h22 head on the f22 block. Keep it low compression and get more boost. Put it in a early model hatch like an eg and get the transmission built for you you get and amazing ride. There is a company in Germany that will build a 6 speed transmission for the f22
