Default Missing MOMO horn button mounting piece...

A while back I ordered a MOMO MonteCarlo steering wheel from with hopes of installing it later on my 92 Civic hatch. I went to install my wheel today and noticed that the part that keeps the horn button installed, which I'm confused of what it actually looks like, was missing in the kit. My buddy told me it's a small metal ring that fits behind the steering wheel and acts as a bracket to keep the horn button in place. The actual MOMO box included: Montecarlo wheel, horn button, and a small yellow wire.

Does anyone know what I should do as far as substituting with a home-made piece? If so, could you post a picture of this piece since I have don't know what it looks like.

If someone has one they wanna send me, I'll take it!

Thanks people.

Can someone take a picture of the WHOLE package contents of a complete Momo steering wheel?

that same thing happened to me, mine was also missing. it is a small piece of sheet metal with holes drilled in it and the center has a lip. this lip holds in the horn button. i called the place that i got my wheel from and they were able to get it for me. you may also want to give momo a call if that place can't help. i wil take a pic of mine when i get home to show you what it looks like.

Like stated, I don't think it comes with the wheel. I think it comes with the hub. So if you didn't purchase a Momo hub then there is no reason to call Momo. I think I might have an extra Momo hub in the garage for an older Acura that shold work. If you are interested, just pay shipping and I will ship the ring to you.

yes as stated....it comes with the hub. haha that's 3 confirmations :D I have the same exact problem because I'm not using a momo hub. I'm using a hkb hub, but the horn retaining ring that came with it wont' allow it to function with a quick release on it.

My solution....wrap some paper around the horn, and shove it in. Ghetto fix, but hey it works.
