Default custom fitting a lip onto my car.

hi i have this front spoon lip made of abs plastic. it is made for a 1998 accord but my car is a 1993 prelude. it somewhat fits although it is too long and doesnt hug the sides of the front bumper(sticks out on sides) how can this be fixed? what to use?

- I have an answer
my friend bought an abs plastic lip designed for a 99 civic and put it on his 92 hatch. What he did is where parts stuck out from the bumper, he added 3-5 washers where the screws where and that pulled the lip snug real good. And, u cant see the washers becuase they are up under the lip where the screws are. Lemme know if this makes sense and works

yeah definetly abs will pull snug right to the bumper, for a one inch gap id start with about 5 washers and then add one on or two on till it fits perfect.

this should work better and that is what should have been done on the other lip surreal mentioned. (i should have thought of that when installing phil's lip!!) BTW the 99 lip looks fine on the EG...

if the curves are way off you can use a cutting wheel to cut pie shapes out of the inside of the lip (the bottom part) to make it bend easier
