quick KS question about size

Default quick KS question: confirm size pleasee

been searchin everywhere... can someone confirm for me please the size socket needed for the knock sensor on an h23 .... i see many "iirc's" on it being 27mm... can someone confirm (pref someone who changed it and not from word of mouth on other threads =])? dont have ne sockets/spanners above 23-24mm so i need to go borrow/rent from somewhere temporarily.. .tia guys

oh yah, and helms doesnt seem to mention how much torque to put on it.. ne ideas?

When I did my KS, an american socket fit best around it (believe it or not). IIRC, it was either a 1 1/16 or a 1 1/8...

just handtight, do not overtighten, that's an easy piece to break

If you over tighten it will crack the sensor in half, dont go to crazy on it. Put it in as far as it will go with your hand, then give it a half turn, you know snug. not holy crap its a castlenut on my suspension tight. ^_^
