how bad is it for the ps pump if i remove the belt
The only downside would be that the seals will eventually dry out from non-use. It takes a while, but once they dry out they will need to be replaced for the PS and A/C pumps to work again worry-free. I drove with PS and A/C in my DC4 for about a year and a half with the belts off, and once I put the belts back on the pumps worked fine. Are you planning on completely removing them later on?
look up PS removal kit, the guys name is pandawn(?) he sells a kit that allows the fluid to keep moving, supped to be easier than having no belt.
