Bad inside tire wear=camber? toe? alignment?
the inside of my yoko avs es100's are badly eaten up. ive searched and people are saying different things. i didnt get an alignment after lowering it so yea. heres a pic of how low it is. susp. is Skunk2 coilovers w/kyb agx.

thats an old pic and i dont have a pic of how bad the inside of the tires are(pretty much BALD). will an alignment do the job? if so are my tires still going to be good? ive had them for less than a year and im pretty bummed about my tires. thanks in advance

get an alignment. theyre going to check both toe and camber.
i had inside tire wear just like youre talking about on the same tires.
i dropped my car and when i put it on an alignment rack and i was WAY out of spec for TOE. camber on two wheels was within spec and the other 2 were like .1 out of spec which isnt going to matter. its more TOE then CAMBER in most cases i've seen. just go get an alignment

focus on your toe settings... make sure they zero them out... you aren't slammed so that is probably one of the main sources of your uneven tire wear...
unfortunately, your tires are probably a waste if they are bald on the inside

At least fix the camber of your front wheels. I always get my wheels re-balanced first before getting any alignment done. Just for added assurance.
I notice the "ClubEK" sticker you got on, that my car club started. s'up...

You answered your own question. Toe wears tires, not camber.

He doesn't need a camber kit. I have visible camber on all 4 wheels, and have had no problems. I've run Azenis for track days, and Yokos on the street for about 40K, and they've warn evenly all the way.

It's a performance tire, it's not meant to last for 80K. They are a great street tire, and have excelent wear for a summer only tire.

On my first Si, I had this bad wobbling on my car. I had a wheel-alignment done. I still had the wobble after a couple miles. I replaced entire CV axles of both sides. I still had the wobble after a couple of miles. I had the wheel bearings replaced on both sides. I still had the wobble a couple of miles. I ended up replacing the entire front hub and knuckles to Si-R's. Still that wobble was there after a couple of miles. I finally ended up getting my tires re-balanced and had another alignment done. They said that it was possibly my wheels were so un-balanced that it forced my alignment to go bad or something.
Anyway, I'm not saying that balancing has anything directly to do with his situation of bad tire-wear on the insides of his tires. What I was trying to say was go the whole 9 yards and get the tires balanced. Like when you get your car repainted. Might as well go the whole 9 yards and get the door jambs painted too, maybe even the engine bay as well. Do you get what I'm saying?

S1? coo.
so after alignment just scrap my tires for new ones? no need to rebalance them?

Yes, scrap the tires. When you buy new ones, they will be balanced after mounting.

Yeah, it sucks. Alignments are much cheaper than new tires and camber kits; too bad you had to find out the hard way.

I'm only dropped about 1.8'' (h&r sport springs) and I didn't get an alignment like a big dumbass and now my tires dead.
I'm waiting to get all the use I can out of them...then I'll get an alignment with some Azenis for the summer

Have you ever rotate your tires? It will help prolong your tires also. Try to stay away from directional tires so you can do a proper rotation instead of just front to back.
eg civic dont have camber adjustment just toe im not sure if the ek is the same. so for those cars you would need a camber kit to adjust camber. toe will even it self out when you start driving thats why some cars have a croocked steering wheel there for not causing a wear only excesive toe will cause tire wear.
