Distributor wont plug in..?

Default Distributor wont plug in..?

i have a OBD2 GSR motor in my 2000 Civic EX. Im using the stock EX wiring harness and the GSR distributor does not plug in. Im curious on what dizzy i need and is this common..?

i have never heard of anything like this.

The 96-98 Civics used a 9-pin distributor, while the 99-00 Civics used a 8-pin (lacked the Blu tach wire). Does your harness have a 9-pin connector?

yea it might be different b/c i think that the gsr is 0bd2a and the 00 civic is obd2b? might be that......bump for help for him

does your connect have 9 pins ?

if you dont want to switch the dizzy just get the right plug and solder the new one on and you will be good to go wont hurt anything

it fired up tonite. We had to resolder some ****. And yes whoever said the tach wire was missing is right. The tach works though. Now if i didnt have a bunk p28 i'd be good. But im on the god damn stock ex ecu. Im not driving it, its still sittin i need a new p28 now.
