Default Clutch slipping?

Just bought my s2k not too long ago, have a few thousand miles, when i shift from high revs from 1st to second it takes a second for the disk to grab, could this be the clutch already slipping? it sometimes also happens from 2nd to 3rd, how common is this problem? TIA

no if you car is 2004 or 2005 this is normal. These cars have a different master slave cylinder than the AP1 which does this to eliminate stress on the drive train. People have changed to the AP1 master slave cylinder to make this go away.

you can also mod the 04 one to work like the AP1 and not have the delay!

Yes the delay sucks. It almost holds the revs up for an instant before they drop during a shift, but I didn't think that it was fixable...thanks for the post Rio!
