Turbo. Plain and simple. There's only so much you can do with just regular bolt ons on a b16. You could do a PnP, new valve train, cams, milling, ITBs or racing intake manifold. For cheap? nothing's cheap when you mod.

Use the Search button. This has been covered everywhere. By the way it sounds you need to sit down and learn about your motor more before you do many mods.

i agree. And to the original Post-er...no offense intended. before for you have any internal work done to the motor you should "do your homework." and while Turbo is a good way to get power out of the rev-happy B16, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT for now. take the time to learn about your motor, and the different parts available for your motor.

and when you look at "mods" for your B16, don't just look at them in terms of how much horsepower or torque you'll be gaining- You have to know how certain parts will affect other parts of your motor, etc.

it'll be better in the long run.

if you just throw stuff together, there's a good chance that there won't even be a "long run."

theres nothing for cheap when it comes to tuning up ur car, like what they say, get aftermarket manifold, cam gears, camshaft, etc... do some inner build.

maybe he meant d16, or maybe it was a typo, or maybe he is an idiot.
Who knows but if you already order an I.M., next set would be cams. You can get some used CTR or ITR cams for like 300 bucks. Thats always a nice upgrade for a b16(if you have a b16), there also is a zex cam for like 150 if you have a d16.
