My horn was working fine and my srs light wasnt on. All of a sudden, my horn stopped working and my srs light went on. ?Checked all the fuses and they were fine. The airbag plug which i believe was in the steering wheel was connected. I went to the mechanic and he said that i had to replace something like and assembly coil. wat ever that means but i dont believe thats the problem. Is there any other way to test it or what are the chances that, that could happen at the same time. * honda civic 93 DX* sedan. thanks really would appreaciate a reply.

 

Your cable reel in your steering column is dead, needs replacing. Do a search on where to find one other than the dealership, and how to replace it.

any sites where i can locate the reel and where i can get it. I cant even look it up in the honda website????>?????

 

Your best bet will probably be a junkyard, both availibility and price wise.
