Help - Civic A/C Compressor's Interchangable?
I have a 94 Civic DX Coupe .. my buddy has a spare a/c compressor off his 96 Civic DX Coupe. Are the compressor's interchangable? All I need is the compressor to get my a/c working.
Thanks

No clue. FYI you do need a liscence according to federal law if you crack the AC lines....which you will have to do if you swap compressors. I mean nobody really obeys the law......but I gots me 609!!!!
Similar question. Installing B16A into a 95 CX w/AC. B16A compressor doesn't bolt up to the lines, and also the CX AC system is 134a, the one on the B16A is r12. My question is this. I know the CX compressor works with the lines in the CX (obviously). But If I bolt the CX compressor up to the B16A (which it will bolt up to nicely), can I buy a belt for a 95 del sol dohc vtec and have it fit correctly? Honestly I don't think the compressor that came on my swap was the original one for the motor, but I could be wrong. So will the belt work or do I have to do a custom belt and actually measure the length I'm going to need? Thanks.
