Are my Knuckles stock?
well a while back i went from my b16 back down to a d16. I didnt do the swap myself, some guys came out and did it, and i helped. AT the time i didnt know too much, so now i am unsure of what exactly took place. We replaced the knuckles, which i think is required when goign B>D or D>B, but we did so specifically because it was IMPOSSIBLE to remove the axel nut, lol.
So today i went to autozone and grabbed some new front pads. I went to replace them, and they dont fit. The new pads i received at the top and bottem have _[]_ on the top, and the same ont he bottem, only flipped. These being the point which insert into the slots for them. The pads i removed, however, are shaped more like ..--.. definately not as high of an insert. i'd take pics, but the camera is dead. I knwo this is hard to follow, but basically i am saying the pads i received are not workign because on the top and bottem of the pad there is a pointed piece instead of a flat headed shape that fits into the grooves.
What possible calipers/kluckles might i have on my car, or do you think that they simply gave me the wrong pads?

It is possible they gave you the worng pads. Just a fyi, you do not need to swtich knuckles when doing a swap unless you start with an hf or std model or are going to use std/hf axles when running the d series.
