Default EK CIVIC-TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES-SWAP

i have an EK. im bout to drop a jdmb16a3 in it right now. currently in my ek i have an OBD1 B17a. (93 gsr) swap. so i cant pass emissionis and all that ****. but anyways my question is. i plan to drop the jdm b16a3(obd2) longblock in the ek. i want to keep my current obd1 ecu cuzz im going to chip it. will i have to change out anything or buy something else to make this swap work? like do i need a new harness or anything or do i have to use the obd2 distributor or will the obd1 distributor work fine with it? will it basically just be a str8 bolt off bolt on new motor swap. or will i need something extra to make this work? thx for any help you give. i'm doing this this saturday so i need info quick. thx

i don't see how anything there in the swap would change anything with emissions. here in pa an obd2 car has to remain obd2. give some more info on why you can't pass.

Use your current harness, injectors, and distributor on your car. You should be good, I may be forgetting something here. But I beleive that is it.
