Default Hey Need diagnosis. Wheel Hop=Axle pop-out??

Hey guys,
I got some bad wheel hop in my Girfriends 1994 ex, then no matter what geasr your in it feels like nuetral. I am thinking i popped an axle out during the ridiculously hard wheel hop. Is this what everyone else would have concluded to? So do i just pop the axle back in or do i need another axle? Need to get this car back up and running ASAP so any input would be appreciated.

she is pissed but i told her that when she hit a curb thats what did it, she won't be that mad as long as i get it fixed relatively soon. Need to know if thats all i am facing here.Just pooping the axles back in or replaceing the axles entirely

i really doin't see that happening, and if it did it would either be hangin on the ground, or it would be grinding the splines in the hole. i hate to tell you but that trans is probably toast...

Hey i just looked at it and the drive axle snapped where it meets the Rubber (balancer, Dampener) whatever it is. THe axles just sheered right in half. I didn't think a stock EX with an intake would sheer axles upon wheel hop like that. But obviously it broke in the weakest part, where the axle tapers a bit.

might want to check you engine mounts to make sure they arent broken to cause wheel hop like that.

Yeah go out and get a new axle, I get them for about $57 at Car Quest but I get a discount -- at that price I just replace a driveaxle whenever a boot rips. If any other problems persist it's probably the trans.

yeah i apid 65 for the passenger side axle after the core charge was refunded. The pass side axle is the driving axle right that would explain why the car felt like it was in nuetral the whole time.
