To those without fender liners.......
Ok all you linerless drivers. I am currently running no liners in the front of my car wich is auto-x/daily driver and was wondering how many others are driving daily with no liners? Do any of you have another "liner" of sorts or what. I am just wondering because I am getting a terrible buildup of crap in my door jambs by the hinges and I can see that making things bad in the future. I guess I am just gonna have to make a rear shield portion.
When correctly installed, fender liners aren't taking much space...why removing them ? (I am not being an ***, I am seriously wondering)
you definately don't want to run sticky tires with no fender liners.... my fenders covered with dimples from the rocks shooting up from the inside and hitting the fender.
I most run hoosiers and my car is track only but i would imagine some A032's would do the same on the street.

I am running RA1's right now with some S03's in the shed. I havent run them that long but even on regular street tires I got alot of debris not so much in the ding dept. though. I removed my liners because my tires were hitting them and the body lip directly above them, and I needed to roll the lip of the fender itself as well hence eliminating the mounting tabs for the liner and making the previously lined area have a wider gap.

I went to the hardware store & got some of those 'caution' signs. They were made out of approx. 1/8" thick plastic. I cut them to shape & pop riveted them onto the body. Covers most of the opening. Very little gets into the door now. I could go all the way up but I didn't really see a need.

Good idea! I am currently running no liners on both my street and race car....no big deal on the race car. I am however starting to see some paint chipping on my street car.....I pressure wash it really good everytime I was the car, but I have run no liners for 3 or so years.

i do not run liners because my fenders do not have the appropriate mounting tabs. if you have a street car, you really should run them.
