Default Cost to weld this? Or can I do it myself? any info would be helpful

I have a 99 civic EX 4dr. To make a long story short i was able to cut out all the rust from the rear fender and then put primer on it till i get the metal pieces welded on....my question is how much would it cost for some shop or place to weld a few pieces on the car that I allready have cut out? The picture is below of what the car looks like now. Also i was given advice to rent a welder at home depot for $40 a day. If i am able to do it that way(i havnt welded b4 tho) is there some good book or some type of media that i can learn how to weld just enough so that i can do this job to join the pieces together. Any info would be helpful.

I would just bring it to a body shop. That way they will weld a piece in there, bondo it and paint it. Its a lot harder than you think.

I agree. Especially being that you have never welded before.

I might just take it to a shop for them to weld in the pieces it self and i can bondo it and paint it. Iv worked on my friends 69 rs/ss camaro and i have done things like this(the bondo and smoothing it all out to make it look origional).
