How to remove airbag?
How do I remove the airbag in my 93 cx? I am doing a black interior conversion. I cant seem to get the screw that connects the airbag to the steering wheel.
A freind recommended to drill the screw out and replace it with another screw. Please help my car is completely unbolted.

Make sure you disconnect the battery ground first. Then use the torx bit to remove the screws. Make sure you do not move the SRS reel at all when re-installing your new airbag, or the SRS light may stay on.

lol omg i can't believe you were going to drill it out. I would have laughed so damn hard if you did like a DIY on how to remove the airbag and it went like, "Step 1. Drill out the crazy screw!"
ok anyways im a loser.
That screw right there is only one, there should be another one on the right side of the airbag.

the srs reel is the yellow and black sorta circle type part in the steering wheel, the battery ground is pretty self explanitory, pop the hood, disconnect the ground on the battery
You should also use the jumper to disable the airbag, otherwise you might knock your head off if the airbag deploys while u are unscrewing it.
I would never recommend drilling that close to the SRS, a torx bit works fine.
