can i run the zex/comp turbo cam with a stock tune?
just wondering if i can run it on a stock tune. i dont want to tune and break in a motor at the same time.
my other option was to run the stock d15 head on the d16 block for break in, then swapping on the z6 head and cam when its ready.

B7 and a6 heads are the same minus the cam. Throw on the head and just swap the cam later. I know this from personal experience, not internet "know-how" and I know you know what Im talking about!
well what i was planning on was having the z6 head ported and built and have the cam installed all at once. that way i didnt have to fuss with head swaps/down time.
i didnt want to tune and break the motor in at once, so i was wondering how it would perform with a cam in there on a stock tune.
if there was going to be a problem then ill break in the motor with the old d15 head, then swap on the ported cammed z6 later.

so i dont have to swap head/cam later on.
if it will run fine during the break in period of the new motor then ill install the cam and head all at once and break it in that way.
