help with 4 wire 02 sensor
so i converted to obd1, im throwing codes 20, and 41. code 20 is electrical load detector, and 41 is primary oxygen. the colors of the wire on my 02 are gray, black, and 2 whites. can anyone tell me wires are for what. (ground, power) blah blah
thanks, would having the ground for the 02 sensor hooked up to wrong wire on the conversion harness cause me to throw code 20? say if the ground was hooked up to the signal wire?

so the black wire is the only one needed to be pluged into the ECU?

You will need to source a switched +12v for the heater power (Relic1 is saying grab that from the junction plug).
You will need to source a ground for the O2 signal (Relic1 is saying grab that from the thermostat housing ground that already exists).
You will then need to run just one wire, the heater control, back to the ECU so that the ECU can control the heater section of the O2.
Viola' - you're done.
*You are using an ECU that uses a 4-wire O2, correct?*</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yo Justin, check out this link...

Just scroll down to where it says "Code 20" then open the pics, they are flow charts to determine what the problem is. Good luck, and If you can't get it figured out just give me a shout, I'll give you a hand.

im half retarded
, i dont like trouble shooting
pretty sure i have a bad electrical load detector, when i was doing my obd1 conversion, i forgot to disconnect the battery, and when i was soldering, couple wires shorted/grounded out, thats the only thing i ca think of
anyone know whast the asking price for a ELD is?
