92 Accord Tranni problem code 7

92 Accord Tranni problem code 7
One of my friends is having a problem with his accord, it is always stuck in 3rd gear. I've already checked the Tcm its okay. It is flashing a code 7 could anybody tell me what that is. I've already searched. Tia.

CODE 7 IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SHIFT CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE SYSTEM,,
make sure the wiring are ok and properly plugged ion,, if ok, remove solenoid valve, the lower ones the top ones is for the lock up control...clean the metal screen sometimes they get clugged up thus throw a code 7 ..if you have access to compressed air blow the passages. put back together clear computer twest drive and hopefully for your sake that is all it was oh 1 more thing take a look at fluid make sure it is clean if in question replace fluid
