Code Reader for '92 Accord
I'm new to this forum, so please bear with me if this has been answered. My '92 Accord EX's check engine light is coming on after about a mile from a cold start. I've been toying with the notion of buying a code reader. I don't know that I'll attempt a repair, even if I know what the problem is, but I'd like to have some knowledge of the problem before I take it to my usual Honda specialist.
So, is a code reader for this model a good investment? Will it really tell me what the problem is, or will I have to shoot in the dark anyhow?
Thanks in advance...
Larry

just google search "pull CEL 92 accord". You're going to have to jump 2 wires and watch the CEL flash. 1 second = a value of "10" and .5 seconds flash is "1". Do some simple match then google search "code 14 1992 accord" and there's your answer.
