Adjustable External Wastegate? (SSAC)
Sup folks. I've got an XS-Power (SSAC) External wastegate. I'm trying to figure out what size spring it came with and how much boost its for. took it apart and the spring is green, not sure if its a "small or big" springs because i have nothing to compare it to. In any case, Xs-Power.com says that the wastegate is adjustable from 3.63 - 19psi, as seen here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33742.
But they also have these http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...&rd=1
Can anyone tell me how this is done or give me an idea of what spring i should get for 7-9 psi. I was thinkin about gettin a 5ish psi spring and then uppin the boost with a MBC. Any response is greatly appreciated, unless you're here to tell me how much SSAC sux, then u can shutup
. Thanks!

You can use a mbc to raise the boost.. Or get the correct spring for the boost you want to run.. The info that came with your wastegate should say that spring is in it.. Try emailing the seller and get some info from him..
Im not going to go into ssac stuff since you didnt want to hear that, but just keep an eye out for boost creep..

I bought it new off another Honda-tech member, but there was no manual or anything included so I'm really not sure. I'm gonna try to contact SSAC and see what they can tell me. And yea, I'll definately be watching carefully for boost creep. Thanks for the info!

does it fill the whole seat or is the diameter of the spring a smaller than the ID of the wastegate spring seat? if the spring diameter isn't as wide as the wastegate seat it's a "small" spring.

he must've said that since most SSAC stuff are garbage perhaps the only way to figure that out is actually have it connected and watch the gauge to see where it's at but if it creeps then that's a diff story
