Default 255 fuel pump not cutting it. T4 car....options?

car has a standard 255 pump in it at the moment and its making me real nervous. i have a relay running the pump with 10 gauge wire. regardless its time to step it up.

here are the pumps i have collecting dust.

Venom 650 horsepower pump i beleive it is. its used.

i also have a Aeromotive 1000 HP pump. things huge, big and heavy. whatever.

so i guess my real question is which route should i go with this? ive seen people run the venom pump in the engine bay after the fuel filter.....this doesnt seem right to me.

then with the aeromotive pumps i would obviously mount under the car with its own lines.....but whats the best way of getting the fuel from the tank to the pump. ive seen people just put a fitting in the drain hole, ive seen people weld an extra bung in the tank.....whats legal...whats ideal...and whats easiest that should work.

any sugestions greatly appreciated. just trying to do this fairly simple if possible. it would be awesome to not have to drop the tank..but im sure i'll have to.

if you are gonna use the aeromotive, def. dont use the drain plug. Your gonna wanna buy a sump and have it welded in.

Go with the A1000. Don't forget to put the 100 micron filter in front and the 10 micron filter after.

I think the drain hole issue was seen on my car...and it works..we are near the 700 marker and are seeing plenty of fuel throughout cycle..As far as fuel shifting and needing to run a welded in sump..theres no need..run alittle extra gas in the car, and that extra tank weight will keep the pump from surging...Works great for me..save yourself the time and money..

lol, i thought that was you when i red that...I am actually in the middle of tuning my GM boost solenoid that allow but increase to the VSS on the car..We figured out that under 85 mph, the car can only handle 17psi before breaking loose..and after 86 mph we can increase to 25 or so without spinning...should be very interesting, i can wait to try it..

What the next event your attending??
