Here we go again... There is no 227HP engine in any version of the Accord.
The Accord SiR wagon for 2002 has a 2.3l DOHC VTEC motor that is based on the H22a. But it is rated at 200ps (or 197HP). It is available in FWD or AWD, but only with a the 4spd SportShift automatic tranny from the Prelude.

it has about 195 hp to 200 hp stock ...my friend has it in his 98 prelude...and everyone thinks theres no such thing as a h23 vtec and people hate on it soo much but not after they race....lol im trying to get a h23a vtec blue top when i get the money...going in my 82 honda accord
I have a H23VTEC engine swap in my bb6 base prelude, attached to it is the Accord Type R transmission.(t2w4). This setup is a great one for stock honda parts, albeit mine is built up a bit.
