Confusing ECU information??

i bought a 1994 ex and it came with a P06, Yesterday i checked my girls ECU on here 94 EX and its a P05, after searching many a time i see single cam vtec should be P28 is that coreect could some one set me straight please. I am seriously confused.

correct. did the people before or where you bought it from say they had problems with vtec engaging??

what about the P05 ecu in my girls EX is that a vtec ecu or also for a non-vtec. So basically If i need a converted P06 to run the vtec, then that would explain lack of power (not like theres a huge differnce) in the Upper RPM range.
