underdrive alternator pulley?
i a friend has a a civic hatch with a B7 and wants to get a underdrive pulley for a/c and alternator. hes running alike a amp with a 30Amp fuse, single sub, etc. will it affect much or mess up the alternator?
oh yea his crank pulley is rusted like ****, so a stock pulley costs him like 30 bucks, a aftermarket one is 40.. so 10 bucks for a tad bit of performance..
just any response will be good, and response from people who have underdrive pulleys will be even better! thanks a bunch

sorry to bring this back from the dead. But ive seen a stock B16 gain 1.8whp from a N1 Crank pulley alone.
Added that just incase some1 is searchin like I am. Gives them something to look at

you'll get more gains from just cutting your electronics. about every 50amps you save will equal one horse sparred. 62 amps @12 volts is equal to one horse power, so 50amps cause alternators are not 100% efficient.

with the N1? O i know, I was stating it has made a 1.8whp gain on a stock B16.
Ive personaly shatterd 2 oil pumps on my old setup usin the N1 w/ boost.
Boosted honda's w/ any aftermarket crank pulley will end in bad results if you dont have the harmonic balancer. I have a factory crank pulley on my motor.
