ls/vtec timing belt

Default ls/vtec timing belt

i have searched and really didnt come up with much. did find a b20vtec thread. i kind of got an idea of what i can use but i wasnt sure. if i use an LS water pump then i use the LS timing belt and if i use a vtec water pump then i use a GSR timing belt correct? TIA

for future reference (not being a smart *** here) I can never find anything for the ls/vtec in archives when i search ls/vtec, try using ls vtec.

vtec waterpumps have more teeth on the pulley so thats why you'd use a gsr belt with a gsr waterpump.

yep got that right. i heard to use the vtec water pump. ?? dont know if that is true

yes use the 22tooth gsr w.p. Much better coolant flow than the 19 tooth ls. Also consider using the gsr oil pump. It is also superior to the ls.

or you can use a Type R water pump, or Type R timing belt. Basically same thing as GSR.

Use a VTEC one, much better than LS.
