Do you need a spring compressor

Default Do you need a spring compressor

I want to install the eiback pro springs into my 02 Civic LX, and im wondering if I will need a spring compressor..

all the mustangs I have worked on never needed the spring tool, what about the civics..

spring compressors always come in handy...but if you dont have any air tools handy you CAN do it without the compressors...just be sure to fire off that strut mount at a soft, yet solid object and keep your hands clear.

oh ok sounds good, on my mustang I always drop the strut and the spring falls right out..
