Whenever i go into vtec in 5th gear i get a code 22. What could it be? The only thing that i can think of is my oil pump because sometimes when im in vtec at about 6500-7000 my car kind of bogs and it sounds like the oil pump is spuddering

 

Taken from ECU code thread... code #22 is VTEC pressure valve. Hope that helps you solve your issue a little better.

 

mine does the same thing..every gears vtec is fine..redline every gear koo except 5th. is your oil pan dented?

 

No my oil light does not come on. And i think my oil pan does have a dent in it. Ill check today.
