Hmm.. I think out of all of those you listed the only one that I would buy on ebay would be an intake. Because, after all, it is just a pipe. I'm planning on buying an ebay intake myself, but I'm going to put a K&N filter on the end because I would never trust the filter that comes with the ebay intake.

the strut bars are not bad either. Ebay intakes are good too. ebay short shifters are garbage, and the headres will just make you sound like a ricer.

Re: (Lmaonade)
The only things I ever buy from ebay are the stuff from private sellers. Like if a guy has a used Greddy exhaust for example or a 14b turbo. Something that has a brand name and is not generic ebay junk(except for an intake, although I would switch the filter).

I bought a generic clutch kit off ebay. The clutch and pressure plate were fine, but the throw out bearing was garbage. If you purchase one of these, buy your throw out bearing from the stearlership or a reputable auto parts store.
If you need cheap bulbs, those are also fine too. Pretty hard to beat $20.00 shipped for some bulbs.

You can allways find a good deal on random parts, that is really what i use e-bay for. I found an airmass header for $79. I know it is not the best header in the world, but it is cheap and has a carb# on it, and that is important here in cali.
One of the funny stories i have from e-bay is i got a steel shifter that looks like the skunk2 for $1.00, plud shipping. So it was $6 total. This worked out great for me. I get to see if i like the feel of a steel shifter, as i have allways had a leather momo. If i like it i will upgrade to a skunk2, if i hate it I wasted $6 and will go back to my momo.

I got a few ebay parts. air intake, coilovers, indiglo gauges. you basically get what you pay for. Theres nothing wrong with the ebay parts, but if you are looking for performance and quality youll probably want name brand parts.

ebay has some of the best prices around
you can get anything on ebay
you can get generic stuff and you can also get name brand thing
i bet you 99% of the time the name brand stuff will be cheaper than any store you can find

Re: ebay parts!!! are they worth it??? (slperhybrid)
as stated before it depends on the product. SOME exhaust off of ebay are a good deal, buddy of mine bought a Tsudo exhaust and a intake from e bay for 250 +shipping cant really beat that. but the turbo kits i wouldnt trust, shifters, header maybe if design was of good quality, mufflers no since its a "style" of a company and they arnt FULL stainless steel and will rust soon after instalation only exception are the megan racing mufflers, good product

Re: ebay parts!!! are they worth it??? (DarkDragon)
I would only buy name brand parts from ebay. I got screwed on crappy parts before so I would say no thanks to "ebay" anything from strut bars to turbo

I would say as long as the seller has a great history and little to none on the negative feedback then there should be nothing wrong.
I have purchased over 50 car parts on ebay and all have been good to me. Where can you beat a 4-1 DC HEader for $300 shipped. Not many places. Or even AEM cam gears for $200 shipped. Just my .02
