engine is being loaded with fuel. What's the deal?

Default engine is being loaded with fuel. What's the deal?

I recently finished assembly of a brand new motor (B16 .020 over, CP 9:1's, eagle rods, etc.) and am currently trying to start the engine, with no luck. The setup that I had before I did the rebuild was identical to the way it is now in regards to fuel management, plugs, etc. The only difference is a new manifold, downpipe, and the lower compression. I"m using teh AEM for the ecu, and again, its using the same calibration that I had before, no changes were done. When I tried to start up the engine, it would sound like its trying to start, but I get nothing out of it. just a couple of sputters, and it dies. When I pull my plugs, I pull out plugs that are dripping with fuel, I'm just getting a crazy overload of fuel in the cylinders. The strange thing though, the odd time I pull a plug, I'll get white smoke pouring out of the plug well. What could this possibly mean?

Things I've tried so far:
Checked the timing on the engine, cams are lined up with #1 tdc.
Replaced plugs/wires
Cleaned out the dist. cap contacts
Adjusted everything I possibly can in the ems to lower the fuel.

My next steps, are to swap out the 450s' with another set, I could possibly have a faulty set of injectors,
If that fails, I'm going to try switching back to the stock ecu and stock injectors. But aside from that, I'm clueless on what else I could possibly do. Is there a chance that an unplugged clip could be causing the trouble, or some other wiring defect? Is there anything else I should be looking at?

I don't think so, for ***** and giggles I tried out the stock ecu on the setup and it was even worse. before the build, I needed the stock ecu for a bit, and it could start the motor no problem and run the 450's, although it was super rich. This time, I get way more luck with the aem then the stocker. At least, with the ems, it sounds like it has potential to turn over

there is no way a stock ecu could idle, even start a car that has 450cc in jectors installed.

stock ecu dumps 100% fuel at start up wich = 240
and if u had the 450 in it would flood.
so something you are saying is not accurate.

if u have the AEM as an EM you should lean out the start up & idle air pressure colums.

Have you verified that you are actually getting spark? Wires in correct order?

What does your fuel pressure look like, assuming that fuel is the problem indeed?
