there are three detents on the wiper control... mine will not work on the first one (slowest setting)... i have to click past that and use the second as my first option... i'm not really sure how this works or the mechanics of it... could someone tell what the problem may be and how i could check it out to try and fix this... thanks in advance

 

it just could be that the contacts are dirty. take it apart and clean the contacts and see.

 

Possibily the relay is out. It is located behind the fuse box under the driverside dash, real pain in the butt to get out.
