i got this weird thing goin on with my cruise control right now. Whenever i first start driving and use cruise for the first time, it wont work until i tap the fuse box with my foot. after that it works every time until i kill the ignition and the cycle starts over. It never fails, a slight tap and the cruise jumps into action. WHY?

sounds like either a loose wire ir fuse, check the wiring going to the fuse box from the cruise and look for an open wire or somehitng that might be loose, also check to see if the fuse is plugged in all the way

Check the ICU (integrated control unit). It is on the back side of the fuse box. It may be lose or going bad. It controls the cruise control, and the int. wipers.
