Default Crank pulley?

im about to do a t-belt and water pump change, and i got a B15b7. i took off the a/c systerm and have no powersteering, which means im only running the alternator belt.

my crank pulley has slots for the alternator belt and the a/c belt, and im wondering where can i buy a crank pulley with only 1 slot for the alternator belt, but not a underdrive pulley. i heard stories bout not having enough charge witht the underdrive..

take your oem pulley to a machine shop get the ps and ac portions of the pulley machined off then have them balance it.

how much would that cost? other than that option, does anyone know a place i can get a aftermarket lighter crank pulley? i dont want to use my old one cause its a bit rusted so i guess its better off putting a new lighter one since its going to come off for the t-belt

d15b7 correct? it would cost you a little bit but the 4th gen std pulley is quiet a bit lighter and has the alternator splines and one other set. the thing is you'd have to use a fourth gen alternator because it's a different belt.

to get a pulley machined and balanced I would say no more than fifty......most aftermarket pulleys don't have a dampner which keeps you from ruining your bottem end
