red line for stock gsr
supposed to be 8200. Maybe the previous owner had a chip installed. I would go out and rev it to 8200, SLOWLY. If you get up to around 8300 or 8400 you'll know he chipped the ecu, and you'll have to be careful. If you hit your fuel cutoff at 8200, you're good to go.
I hate to think that you may over-rev, so make sure you figure out if the stock revlimiter is still in place.
