well i have the cash and i am just about ready to order some things for my FI build with my b18b
so far i have eagle rods
je pistons (9.8:1ish)
ls block with fresh hone
my parts to order list is:
acl main and rod bearings cheapest i found was 82 shipped from ebay
hasting pistons rings (dont know where to get except autozone??)
engine gasket kit from ebay for 100 shipped plus extra 60 for oem headgasket
arp head studs 110 from local shop
gonna get goodyear gatorback timing belt and autozone water pump(had good luck with b4)
now im looking to hit around 300 daily driven and try to get 400 whp with high boost for the track, i have my head ported as the only thing done for the head *dont wanna do cams and springs/retainers as it is a "budget" build
what clutch should i look into?? i dont want to spend more then 400 or 450 on a clutch and i daily drive my car about 2000 miles a month so i want a clutch that will last
my local machine shop charged me
125 for head rebuild (cleaned head, redid valve seats and put all seals in)
25 for hone
45 for flywheel resurface
do those prices seem fair?
thanks for any and all help
are my goals obtainable with the right turbo setup?

im using a stage1 competition clutch with a six puck disc on my turbo ls and i have 10k miles on it already. All the machine work is a really good price.
$45 for the flywheel resurface is a little high. Most shops will do it for $10-20. If you need a clutch for your new setup, check out Action Clutches. Alot of the FI crowd love them.

Action 2 MS is what i have...2x the pedal pressure (love that) and great grip. If it's going to be used to only stop and go traffic it hurts a little, but for daily driving it's great
